CELTIC-HEBRAIC

Lines of Apostolic Succession

This line starts with James the less who was the first bishop of Jerusalem. (Acts 15) The See of Jerusalem as a patriarchal see was named as such in AD 451, at the Council of Chalcedon. Many of these bishops also lived in Constantinople and the lines of succession from Jerusalem are mixed in the Orthodox Greek lines which you will find under the Orthodox lines.
